Reflection 5: Block Schedule
What do you like about Block Schedules?
The block schedule's main advantage for me was waking up later on Wednesdays and getting out at lunch on Tuesday. I liked it when I spent more time in my favorite classes. I did prefer it for science class and AP Euro, because there was more time in class for labs and work, but for math and french the class would drag on and never end.
What would you improve about Block Schedules?
There's not much to improve. The schedule is set at the best possible configuration for block schedule, as it there were three days it would throw the weeks off, and if there were 4 days it would become far too dull. The way the schedule is lined up within the day itself is fine too, as it isn't too similar to normal schedule, but is similar enough so that it doesn't disrupt the flow of the day. There aren't many changes that can be made.
What did you learn by having Block Schedules?
The block schedule made me approach school in a different way. At Sinaloa, my middle school, the schedule would change differently, making it a bit harder to go to each class. Now, the block acts n a much different way than the mixing schedule. I prefer it.

Online Manners Review
These are my comments for this list of online etiquette practices rules on the site Common Sense.
7 Rules for Online Etiquette
Context is everything. I agree with this point. Context is very important online, especially with family and friends.
Double-check before you hit "send." This point I know firsthand from seeing other people get into arguments they could avoid, and myself getting into a loud dumb Youtube argument once.
Take the high road (but don't boast about it). This one conflicts me a little more, as flame wars are fun to get into every now and then. Still, one might want to avoid them, so this rule does often apply.
Grammar rules. Idiots who cannot use grammar or spelling online are always the funniest. I once chatted with a person who couldn't use proper spelling or punctuation while he ranted against improper grammar use. Misusing grammar online is acceptable, but if one cannot actually use the English language to a certain point, they will come off as an idiot.
Keep a secret. This one is another good point. Avoiding posting personal data, or as the article says, something that can spark drama, is a very wise choice indeed.
Don't hide. Anonymous people generally tend to be harmless, but they are too often trolls. Anonymity can come off as an attempt to troll, so yes, one should avoid anonymity.
Remember the Golden Rule. This one I don't agree with. While face to face etiquette is definitely based around this rule, online etiquette is much different. Generally people who are very sensitive online will sign off at sudden harassment, and only be truly bullied if it continues. Without face-to-face interaction, there is no real need to be super polite. Online, people don't need to follow the golden rule. If they did, it would be a very boring place.

Excel, Part 1
Microsoft Excel, with the schedule and the like. Questions:
How should the form look?
The form will have date on the left, then will show the time the work started, ended, and the total. The final column will show how much time was done in the week, with the time from the previous days added on.
What categories should be included?
The categories should be date, time the work started, time the work ended, total time of work for the day, total time of work for the week.
How will you track your time?
I use the computer clock or my watch. For example, today I started working at 1:12. I plan to finish working at about 2:20. Whenever I am about t finish, I chronicle the time in the sheet.

I put in the starting time and the ending time when I start and end.
