More about Music

This post is an extension on the second post. It is about music, again.

The first music that I really liked was whatever my parents would play for me, most notably, John Denver, whose music I completely hate today. But because I listened to it so much then, I became much more interested in music. So I started to listen to what my sister liked, which was hip hop. I didn't like it. At all. So I began to look for artists that I liked, starting with The Beatles. From there I went into my sister's music and found artists like Weezer, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, and Jack Johnson. Then my friend suggested a bunch of artists, so I looked into that, starting with Queen. In January, I met this one guy up at a camp who gave me a huge list of artists, and I made a chart out of his suggestions. It starts at The Beatles, ends at Radiohead, Bob Dylan, and Metallica. I started with Led Zeppelin, The Strokes, and Bright Eyes. Then, following the chart, I went to The Who, the White Stripes, AC/DC, and The Rolling Stones. Since then, I've looked back to Weezer, gotten into old bands like Big Star, The Zombies, and The Beach Boys, and newer bands like REM. I'm currently on Wilco. I won't be done with this music chart for a long time, and I'm fine with that, because when I leave the chart, there won't be many artists left that I would like at all.
